Event Information

The 19th Annual AIDS Walk Long Beach is the 5K Walk-a-thon, 5K Run and 5K Pet-Walk that raises funds for the beneficiary agencies that provide HIV/AIDS services and education to our Long Beach citizens. Since 1989 this event has help raise $2.0 million dollars to over 30 beneficiary agencies in the greater South Bay and Long Beach area.

Event Location:

The Pike Shopping & Entertainment Center in

Downtown Long Beach

Parking is available throughout the downtown area. Some of the closest parking sites are as low as $5.00. The Pike has a parking structure adjacent to the property as part of the Pike Shopping and Entertainment Center. Parking is Free for those who stay to watch a movie at The Cinemark Movie Theatres; otherwise free parking is available for the first 90 minutes with restaurant/retail validation. Rates are $1.50 per half-hour thereafter.

Carpooling is recommended. We suggest participants park at the beach parking near Alamitos/Ocean on Shoreline Drive or around the downtown area near Pine Avenue or The City Place Shopping Center and walk down to the venue.
