Event Details

The 2010 AIDS Walk Long Beach is the 5K Walk-a-thon/Pet Walk and 5K/10K Red Ribbon Run raising funds to stop new HIV infections. Since 1989 this event has help raise $2.4 million dollars to over 35 beneficiary agencies in the South Los Angeles County areas of the greater South Bay and Long Beach areas.

The Pike Shopping & Entertainment Center in

Downtown Long Beach

Parking is available throughout the downtown area. Some of the closest parking sites are as low as $5.00. The Pike has a parking structure adjacent to the property as

part of the Pike Shopping and Entertainment Center. There is validated parking for those who do business with The Cinemark Movie Theatres and some other businesses

at the Pike; otherwise free parking is available for the first 90 minutes with restaurant/retail validation. Rates are $1.50 per half-hour thereafter.

Carpooling is recommended. The Passport Bus runs along Ocean Blvd to Pine Ave. We suggest participants park at the beach parking near Alamitos/Ocean on Shoreline

Drive or around the downtown area near Pine Avenue or The City Place Shopping Center and walk down to the venue.
