Long Beach AIDS Foundation Account Creation
We make this website available for use by the general public, subject to these Terms of Service. When you make a donation to a fundraising page, you will be asked for your name, address and email address, and you will be given the option to create an account through our third party online fundraising vendor.    In order to access and use our tools and services aside from making a donation, you must complete the account creation process. Access to and use of password-protected and secure areas is restricted to users who have created an account. Any attempt to access restricted areas without authorization is prohibited.

When you create an account with Long Beach AIDS Foundation, you will need to choose a password to access the online fundraising tools and services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Keep your password in a secure place and do not allow any unauthorized persons access to your password. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or other security breach, notify Long Beach AIDS Foundation immediately.

Privacy Policy and Security
We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with the means to make secure online donations. Our security measures can be found in the Security area of Long Beach AIDS Foundation’s website. Long Beach AIDS Foundation’s use of information provided by you is governed by our Privacy Policy, and Long Beach AIDS Foundation may amend it from time to time. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

Information Provided Through Our Website
Any information; ideas or opinions posted by users of the Long Beach AIDS Foundation tools, services or website do not necessarily reflect our views. We do not assume responsibility for the accuracy of any information, ideas or opinions posted by users and are not liable for any claims, damages or losses resulting from such information, ideas or opinions.

Donations to Charities; Our fees
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have selected the correct organization to fundraise for or donate to.  All donations to the Long Beach AIDS Foundation are made as unrestricted gifts and may not be specified for any particular purpose.  The amount of donations to the Long Beach AIDS Foundation / AIDS Walk Long Beach designated by you are charged on your credit card and paid to, and processed by, Long Beach AIDS Foundation.  Any payments of donations are final and non-refundable. The donations will be held in a separately managed bank account by a third party vendor until payment has cleared and at such time is forwarded to the Long Beach AIDS Foundation as specified in the third party agreement.  Long Beach AIDS Foundation receives donations at intervals as determined by the agreement with its third party online fundraising vendor.  It is as frequently as bimonthly but no less frequently than quarterly.  Your donations to the AIDS Walk Long Beach designated by you will be net of fees totaling 6.5% + $ 1.00. This fee structure is subject to change from time to time as agreed in writing by the third party online fundraising vendor and the Long Beach AIDS Foundation.

Unauthorized card use
You agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized credit card.  Once a donation is made, the transaction is final and not subject to dispute unless unauthorized use of your payment card is proved. If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules. 

Tax Information; Disclaimer
Long Beach AIDS Foundation is not an accounting, taxation or financial advisor, and you should not rely on information given on this website to determine the accounting, tax or financial consequences of making a donation. Long Beach AIDS Foundation makes no representation as to whether all or any portion of the donation is tax deductible.  We strongly recommend that you consult your own advisor/s about any accounting, taxation or financial consequences that may affect you.  Long Beach AIDS Foundation shall have no liability for any claim by any federal or state tax authority with respect to your characterization of any donations through this website on your federal or state tax returns.

Trademarks
The names Long Beach AIDS Foundation, AIDS Walk Long Beach, AIDS Project Long Beach, AIDS Life Emergency Fund, AIDS Walk of Greater Long Beach, use of any service mark logos and any other product and service names that we may present on the website from time to time may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not the Long Beach AIDS Foundation’s, nor in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any way that may disparage or discredit the Long Beach AIDS Foundation. Other trademarks, service marks or logos that appear on the website, in particular (but not exclusively) those of registered with Long Beach AIDS Foundation are the property of their respective owners and are likely to be registered trademarks and subject to restrictions as to their use.
