Walk Day Information

AIDS Walk Long Beach is the 20th Annual 5K Walkathon that raises funds for the beneficiary agencies that provide HIV/AIDS services and education to our Long Beach citizens. This is the ONLY Walkathon in Los Angeles County that raises funds for the agencies that provides services in the Long Beach and South Bay area. Since 1989 this event has help raise $2.1 million dollars to over 34 beneficiary agencies in the greater Long Beach & South Bay areas.

Event Location:

The Pike Shopping & Entertainment Center in Downtown Long Beach

Parking is available throughout the downtown area. The Pike has a parking structure adjacent to the property as part of the Pike Shopping and Entertainment Center. Parking is Free for those who stay to watch a movie at The Cinemark Movie Theatres; otherwise free parking is available for the first 90 minutes with restaurant/retail validation. Rates are $1.50 per half-hour thereafter.

The are several lots adjacent to the Pike that have $5 flat rate parking and offer the best value.

Carpooling is recommended. We suggest participants park at the beach parking near Alamitos/Ocean on Shoreline Drive or around the downtown area near Pine Avenue or The City Place Shopping Center and walk down to the venue.
