Walk Day Information

The 20th Annual AIDS Walk Long Beach is the 5K Walk-a-thon, 5K/10K Run and 5K Pet-Walk that raises funds for the beneficiary agencies that provide HIV/AIDS services and education to our Long Beach citizens. Since 1989 this event has help raise $2.2 million dollars to over 34 beneficiary agencies in the greater South Bay and Long Beach area.

The Pike Shopping & Entertainment Center in

Downtown Long Beach

Parking is available throughout the downtown area. Some of the closest parking sites are as low as $5.00. The Pike has a parking structure adjacent to the property as part of the Pike Shopping and Entertainment Center. There is validated parking for those who do business with The Cinemark Movie Theatres and some other businesses at the Pike; otherwise free parking is available for the first 90 minutes with restaurant/retail validation. Rates are $1.50 per half-hour thereafter.

Carpooling is recommended. The Passport Bus is FREE from Cherry Ave on Ocean Blvd to Pine Ave. We suggest participants park at the beach parking near Alamitos/Ocean on Shoreline Drive or around the downtown area near Pine Avenue or The City Place Shopping Center and walk down to the venue.
